The Hands On Global Team is returning to Ukraine March 7, 2023. We are bringing complex trauma equipment, requested medications and limb saving orthopedic hardware. We will be delivering to four trauma surgeons at four trauma hospitals including a Children’s Trauma Center.

Two members of the Hands On Global team, remain in the field at the Kara Tepe 2 Camp in Lesvos, Greece. They have committed to 6 months in the field. Tama Adelman is working on the creation and operation of the central pharmacy. Cathy Evans is working with Refuge4refugees on the distribution of supplies. They are filling critical roles. Valerie Hellermann is joining them again in February for 6 weeks to implement the Telehealth project.

The team is gearing up for the medical needs of migrants arriving at the border in Texas. We are in contact with several humanitarian groups as they prepare for arrivals.

Dr. Georgia Milan is working on the creation of a monthly migrant clinic in Idaho. We are supporting this with equipment and possible staff.

Oh Zanskar! We are all hoping to return to our Zanskar project later this year. We are still uncertain what the covid-19 situation in India will be, and if even we could get in. We will post updates about this as we know it.

We are all yearning to be back in the Himalayas in the simple, compassionate community of Zanskar.
